Job responsibilities

• Build new functions or parts of applications
• Develop reusable and future proof components and libraries
• Make use of UI/UX design or wireframes in creating appropriate code and application

• Analyze and review software application requirements and interface designs
• Assist in the design and development of responsive and functional user interface components
• Keep track of application performance and suggest improvements

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of experience in software development using React (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
• Sound knowledge of JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript Object Model

• Significant experience working with CSS, HTML, functional programming, and more advanced EcmaScript specifications
• Good understanding of REST APIs, document request models, and offline storage
• Well-versed in React.js workflows, like Flux, Flow, and Redux
• Good grasp of app UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Strong understanding of different testing frameworks, like Jest, Mocha
• Fluency in the English language for effective communication
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

• Proficient with OOPs fundamentals, XML, JSON, and web services
• Experience with user interface design and responsive designs
• Knowledge of unit testing, code debugging, and performance optimization
